28.5" barrel? For use in the house?

Posted

i bought the 28" version too because it is cheaper to buy the 18" than 28" from cabelas. you should do the same, then you have both barrels. the 18" is accurate, with rifled slugs i kept a 3 shot 2" group at 25 yards using the beads, no rest

Two Reasons: I can reach out and touch you.... I get to shoot skeet with it.

I hope I never have to use it inside, I'd like for it to just shoot at skeet, but if someone comes through my door... "KaBOOM"

Is that for just the TN Zombies?:P

I just find it amazing that academy and mossberg can sell these things, as in a whole gun, almost as cheap as everyone else sells just a 18" barrel.

Good plan. The 18" cylinder bore on my 870 is kinda useless for anything except social work. I have another gun for the other stuff. But, if I was on a tighter budget, i would probably do the same thing.

That is a good price for a very good gun. It should serve you very well.

I have a 25 inch 870. Just figured it's comfortable at the range and can still be used around the house when all the Glocks, AK, and both ARs run out of ammo.:D
