I used to use Velcro but then I forgot how to untie them so I had to go back to regular boots. I did know a few that put zippers in their steel toed boots to replace the laces. A fellow worker was an AP in the Air Force and others wanted to follow his lead. I thought it was a neat idea but it did not work for me. :panic:

The only thing age has taught me (and I'm really not that old, hey I still feel 23 :panic: ) is that I don't know as much as I thought I did and I probably never will.

Well, I know that I'm really not an old man yet (except to the real young-un) but I've got lots of miles on me and not near enough maintinance.

Kind of like a car sometimes it ain't the model its the mileage.
