Any Smallbore Mauser Owners?

In the process of cleaning out my parents house I found a zip up type rifle bag/case hidden in their basement. I recognized it as being one I had seen in Dad's closet when I was a kid. I hadn't seen it for years and believed it had been stolen when the house was burglarized about 10 years ago. I always though it was just the run of the mill 22cal varmit rifle and never knew of it being fired.

When I opened the bag the butt plate said "Mauser" and the stock had Mauser stamped into the wood. Through searching various internet sites I believe it to be a 410B but can't determine the prefix (Mm or MS). I have also found out that these rifles were used to train the Hitler youth. Dad was a WWII vet. I really don't think he actually brought it back from Germany (I don't know this for a fact) but I have no idea have he came to be in possession of this rifle.

I have found reference to book entitled "Masure Smallbore Rifles" by John Speed. It appears this book is the only reference that is available that can identify the weapon via the serial number. I really want to determine the history/orgin of the rifle but I really don't want to order the book.

My question is: Do any of you TGO folks have it and if so can I PM you the serial number for the rifle.
