A non TGO member let us shoot his .50 BMG last time at Jason's.

I'll have 100rnds of Wally World Federal .45 if some one wants to trade for 7.62x39 or 9mm. I can't use it but will trade for face value of it.....

Just a reminder....If anyone has an extra descent size cooler they could bring, That would be great. I have one, but I figure we'll need a couple anyway. Also, Maybe bring a couple more bags of ice with that cooler.

Great turnout yesterday, i think we had almost 25 people there and all kind of boomsticks.

The food was awesome, it almost felt like a catered affair. Titan, his smoker and grill put on a belly thumping feast. I wish we were doing it again today.

I also really don't care to ever hear rounds coming back at us again. Thats a scary sound and there is no way to react in time to it. But no harm no foul so it is good for a laugh now.

Looking forward to seeing pics when our photogs get around to posting some up.

Hello TGO,

I'm Sorry I wasn't able to make it yesterday. I posted a "THERE" last week before I got sick.

I have been battling "walking pneumonia" since this past Tuesday.

The Doc told me, cause I asked him twice, that we caught it early and I wasn't contagious after 24hrs on antibiotics and if I physically felt up to it I could try to go Saturday.

SO the nurse shot me with a 12ga. 3 1/2" magnum full of antibiotics in each cheek and I picked up enough "rounds" of meds from the armory at Walgreens to load 2 magazines in my SIG. LOL

I was getting better thru the week and Friday night felt good and was sure I could make it. I had everything packed & ready to go.

Woke up Saturday morning and had a significant relapse of symptoms. I wasn't leaving the house period.

I'm REALLY SORRY I missed it. Couldn't post anything about not being able to make it Saturday Morning cause TGO was down all frigging day.

I was looking forward to meeting the local TGO folks who could show up and having a good time together shooting, eating, hanging out, and lots more shooting!

Please post pictures y'all took and be sure to ID the whos' who and Who's that of the fall East TN TGO shoot.

Sorry I couldn't make it and I hope my absence didn't throw off the count for anything that might have been planned.

Y'all please holler next time a get together to go to Norris or other local shooting event is planned.

Right now I 'm planning to go to the Knoxville Expo Gun Show next weekend as my next Gun related outing.

I took pixs, I have touched them up (adjusted lighting, exposure, etc) and will post them hopefully later today. I had a great time as well. Great to meet some new guys, I even reconnected with Glenn whom I went to high school with. Always good to see the usual suspects and hang out. Shooting pistols, rifles, etc along with shooting the seemed to be a great way to spend a Saturday. Thanks to OhShoot for picking me up. We are doing this again next weekend right? BIG THANKS to titan14 for toten that smoker from Kingsport. Those dogs, burgers, and brats were deeelish!!!! Yes I had one of each and took some more home!!!!!! What can I say???????

If anyone is carrying around a pistol with no front sight, maybe an XD, I might be able to help you out. Found one sitting in a blue chair that someone left over on the far right of the shooting line.
