I just got home from the game. The rain delay was awesome. Everyone was packed in narrow breezeways. It felt like the end of the world where everyone was in a small building, fighting for a spot and everyone stunk. The game was great until the 2nd half. Oh well, did better than I expected. Go vols!

Any ideas of today's turn out on tonight's game?

Been saying it all year. TN will lose all their major games. We will finish 6-6 or maybe worse. I was at the game yesterday. We came out fired up and started whippin butt. After the game delay it seems as though our boys just decided they didnt want to play anymore so they gave up. Typical tn. Strong out the gate but not much for stamina. I really think they need to work on their conditioning program. I remember in the days where by the forth quarter they had the other team worn down and they were still going full speed. Those were the good days when they whipped but. Now they are the SEC laughing stock I think.

They are a young team. They survived some of the worst timing for coach changes. Thanks to the butthole that left, the entire program was put under scrutiny causing Bruce Pearl to be put in a tight spot. Coach Dooley and his staff gave those kids a great plan in the first quarter and it paid dividends. Their youth and inexperience got the better of them in the 2nd half but even with the rain delay in the 1st quarter, TN still came out and played hard. Admittedly, I am a transplant and have only been paying attention to the Vols for three years but given all the turmoil, I think there is a lot to be proud of right now. GO VOLS!

I will say this the oregon fans are very friendly. There were several that stopped me and my buddy in Gander mountain with us wearing orange and wanted to shoot the breeze and introduce themselves. They said they had a deep respect for our football program and a deep respect for our fans and our tradition. We even had a couple ducks hanging out with us yesterday at our tail gate party.

I thought I'd met a kindred soul until I saw the alligator picture you posted. Anyway, the Tennessee blowout was so funny, it almost took the sting out of the Vanderbilt slaughter. Anybody out there got an extra coach? It didn't look like Robbie Caldwell even knew where he was most of the game.

kind of hard to smack talk the gators when they beat the vols on a regular basis. They hire Urban Meyer we hire Lane Kiffin. They fire Ron Zook, we fire Phil Fulmer. I'm not sure when the vols can compete with fla but I hope it is this weekend. Though, if I'm a Gator, I wouldn't worry until the score is 48-0

Speaking of peyton what is the infatuation with him anyways? He never beat florida, didnt win the sec, didnt win a national championship, and heck he lost the heisman to a defensive back lol. To me people should be loving tee martin...at least he was a winner.
