Why would it? Because of the weight redistribution causing a limp-wrist?

Have a Insight W150X on a XD 45 now. never a problem.

Sooting the 40cal barrel is not a problem.200rnd and no issue. I have a LWD 9mm conv barrel also. Every 70th rnd stovepipes with the tac light on. Without it I can fire 100 with no problem. Just checkin to see if was a common problem or maybe just me.

On Glock .40 calibers, it is common to have some type of FTF when using a rail mounted light due to the weight on the front end affecting the recoil motion of the firearm. It is more commonly seen in Glock 23's than the larger frames, but has been documented in Glock 22's as well.

I'm not trying to start anything here, but just as a frienldy piece of advice, check yourself for limp-wristing. It happens to the best of us (even me sometimes), and will cause a FTF at times. Again, I'm not saying that that is your problem, but it's something to check.

Just a guess.........if you only have a problem when the conversion barrel is installed, then the issue is probably with the conversion barrel......not the light. Are you running the conversion barrel with the stock spring and guide rod?

I have the same problem with my Lone Wolfe G35 conversion barrel. I think it has to do with the top part of the barrel/ chamber coming in contact with the slide as it comes reward taking some of the energy needed to fully eject. Happens about 1 out of 100. I think one percent is good enough for a target setup. I have an Insight Technology M6 tac light that has had no more or less malfuntions when it's mounted.
