Skeet throwers?

Recommended Posts

Alright I am a rifle man but my 13 year old sister like to shoot skeet (because she is way better at it:dropjaw: and will defiantly let you know) and right now we have one of those set-ups where you stick it in the ground and let it rip but it keeps coming out of the ground. :D. So would it be better to modify one of these rigs or get something different? I was thinking about welding it to a sled but that might take some weight to get it to hold still. what about making something to go in the receiver hitch?

Also where is the best place to buy cheap 12 gauge ammo? that 870 can burn it up!

You can absolutely make it to go in a reciever hitch. That is what I use. It started life as one that you put in the ground as you say, but I found some 2" square tubing about 4 or 5 feet long. I put a little seat on it, so you can sit on it and the arm is still far enought away to not bash your knees. It works pretty well.
