The BLM has been doing this for DECADES...nothing new.

I lived in the desert of southern Nevada for 54 years. There are groups that provide food for the wild horses that became wild when they were released by their owners. The population situation has become either let them die of natural causes such as lack of water/ food or round them up and auction them off. The "wild" horses are not native to the area and destroy the habitat of native species and put them at risk. They also become a traffic hazard on rural roads.

The federal government has yet to provide evidence they are capable of doing something right but something needs to be done about the horses.
