Because they have such an extensive readership and their site is bogged down by the entire world waiting to read Chris Pecker's every word, their database only fits a finite number of people. They put people in and out on rotations. We'll all be back soon ... mmmmm yeah, that's the ticket. At least that's what I heard.

Might explain why some are not on there... particualry if you recently renewed

I would put money on it being nothing more than buggy software. Definitely wouldn't call the DOS because I wasn't in the database.

Well I am still in there and not happy about it either, hopefully we can put an end to this BS soon.

Looking at the link to DOS however reminded me yet again about getting a duplicate, I did not know an app could be mailed to me.....I do now and one is on the way....It will be a lot easier to remember to take care of that if it comes in the mail.

If ya dont already have two copies of yours I highly recommend that ya spend the 5 bucks and get one.

Where did you find the online form to apply for a dup. I know I can at the driver license place but I can't where to do it on line.

I have been looking on Handgun Carry Permit General Information. I know the price is only 5 bucks but I can't not find where to get the form to mail in.

well, everything I click on seems to want to take me to a replacement drivers license and it seems to tell me to call to get a application for a dup HCP mailed to me.

Try searching your last name and zip code only. There have been times I searched my last name only, last name + first initial, and zip only and didn't show up. But when I do last name and zip only, I pop up every time. Don't count yourself as being unlisted just yet. YMMV.

Tried first name, tried just last name, tried first and last name, tried just zip code, tried first name and zip, tried last name and zip, tried first name and city, tried last name and city, even did state wide search using first name and state wide search using last name. WE AINT IN THUR!

Hmm. I'm in there, but the wife isn't. I gave up on anonymity when I started parking the squad car in front of the house. Now if the Commie Appeal wouldn't list my name, position, and salary on their website along with every other government employee in the Mid-South. I see no harm in listing the salaries of government employees, but to list my information next to the number annoys me. As if it's not bad enough that I get paid to do a thankless job, they have to tell everyone how much I don't make, too??
