Good to see a hornet in the mix. Its high on my list to build. Right after 221 fireball.

I have acually had the Hornet for a month or two & still have not shot it.

I have loaded a dozen to fire through it though.

I like seeing the goldenboys. I definatly want one of them there bad boys!! :)

Very efficient round IMO. Something like 10-12 gr max loaded makes for many shots per pound o' powder. A real winner to me!

I love my 597 it was more accurate than the 10/22 I had.

I have never fired mine. Father in law won it in a raffle and gave it to my son. I'm not a fan of semi auto rimefire for my personal collection. The ones I have are sentimental except for the 597.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Let that be a lesson to all gun owners! Make sure you hire a reputable climbing guide to when your guns decide they want to go mountain climbing. Most guns are not properly experienced to attempt this on their own and that leads to just this sort of tragic accident. I failed to to send mine to swimming classes before they went deep sea fishing in a canoe and the boat flipped over.

I just can't believe that I picked that day to let my guns go play with yours...

The Marlin 39AS is by itself. Someday, I hope to add a .22 LR handgun.
