Charlie's Knives and Guns which is right next to our classroom facility in Oak Ridge is going out of business. Guns, Ammo, Leather, Knives and everything must go including the fixtures. Beginning Monday 21 January the doors open at 1000 and the sale begins. Since I know the owner I was able to snap up a few things this evening while they ran their inventory that I had had my eye on at SUPER bargains. If you are close and can make it down you would do well to make the trip.

Doh, I had plans for Charlie when tax time came around. :(

Hey,:ugh: can ya keep a secret? :( Don't change your plans. We ought to have our FFL and our accounts open with our suppliers by then. ;)

The website says they're just moving to another location AND adding guns to their inventory.:confused:What gives?:D Phantom, it sounds like someone might be buying him out or taking over the space. Could this be true?

The website you looked at is a few years old. That was when they were in a different location.

Damn I just found the place too DX Mom was looking to order a Springfield XD9 there. She really liked yours Mike, though she wants to try out a .38 snubby before buying.

Well, if she hasn't tried one before the next shoot she can shoot my Taurus stainles snubby with the shrouded hammer. My wife loves it as she doesn't have to worry about dragging all manner of crap out of her purse or pocket and believe me when I tell you this, that is a major concern with all the junk she wags around, and can still use it in single action for those longer shots that require a bit more of a steady hand. I like it 'cause when I carry it in my pocket I don't have to worry about remembering to get my thumb over the thumb spur of the hammer when presenting my firearm.
