Is this overkill?

I have a used ACOG that has not sold/traded (too many low ball offers) so I was wondering if it would be overkill to put it on a M&P 15-22. If so, I am going to put it on my M&P 15T and take the eotech and 3x magnifier and place them on the 15-22.

Let me know what you think. I may place the ACOG up for trade again in the new future as I will be needing a nice scope for my long distance shooter.

The data for drops wont be correct but really it shouldnt matter that your sight probably cost twice what the rifle did.

It's yours. Use it how you want to. While I might not buy it to do what you are talking about doing, I might do the same thing if I already had it.

I'd have the ACOG on the 15T. I've used someone's EOtec/magnifier combo and didn't really care for it. I love my TA31f though.

personally Id put the ACOG on the 15T and the eotech on the 15-22 and leave off the magnifier JMO

LOL I always hear people say that your scope should cost at leat as much as the gun.

I think that I will put the acog on the 15T, eotech on the 15-22 and call it a day.

I traded the ACOG for a Sig 229 and lots of gear. The Eotech is going to stay on the 15T. I will pick up a second Eotech to put on the 15-22.
