Once she gets a handle on that P22, have her try out a PK380. I loved mine, and it was perfect for a lady. Low recoil, good ergonomics, and easy to work the slide.

Thanks, I was wondering what I would be able to move her up to later. Dad was suggesting a .32. I was kinda hoping to go a bit bigger later for her.

Maybe since I am having trouble deciding what I want, I should look check out a PK380 as temp EDC. That way I will have one ready for her to move up. Plus I will have something better to carry until I decide on what I want.

I like my Sig Mosquito. It's size and weight mimic my Sig P226, it even fits the holster. It's been perfect for me to up my shooting without paying and arm and a leg for ammunition.

Good choice IMO on both guns. The biggest + to a PK 380 other than beong nearly identical to the P22 is 8 in the mag instead of the most common 6. One downside is it needs a key tool to break it down which isnt a big deal if kept with cleaning kit.

I traded my First Editon PK in a moment of lust but I will eventually get another.

Another happy customer here. I have both the P22 and PK380 and love them both. I brought home the new p22 before she went to take the HCP course and she fired perfectly with it, 100%, even thought having never fired it before. The weapon is well behaved and ergonomic, always functions as it should. It just feels natural in the hand and I think that alone inspires confidence for new shooters.
