Hmmm, if work allows, and assuming there are any spots still open, I might be making this (shooting in Gallatin 5 mins from my house will be my good plan , won't know until Thursday, but might be bothering you guys (hognut, gsbell) to hopefully hook-up an mcts car-pool mission, after 17hrs each way over labor day a trip to Memphis doesn't seem too bad... - chip

Chip,

We will be leaving for the match on Friday afternoon. I am not driving to any sanctioned match on the day of the match again, unless it is Manchester. It is difficult to get up at 2 AM meet up with everyone, drive 3 to 3.5 hours, shoot, eat, and drive back in the same day. It is not worth it to save 40 to 50 bucks. I am driving Greg, Rick, and Allan on Friday afternoon. There is plenty of room in my Suburban. You are welcome to share a bed with Rick/Allan. Just no shoot the torpedo games!

Mike, thanks, If I can make it I'd like to jump in with you guys for the drive down. I was assuming you/we would be heading out Friday night, and am planning on just grabbing my own room, or if it's booked up maybe seeing about paying for a roll-in bed on top of throwing you guys the jack against the initial room(s) charge.

Just waiting for approval on a project from a bigger client of mine to be free to get out of town Friday (right now it's looking 50/50)...

Any "torpedo games" will likely result in me practicing a close range Bill Drill inside of the hotel room, and mentioning that again should result in Deerslayer hitting you with a first-ever pre-match FTDR.:)

This will be my first sanctioned match, how many rounds should I bring (thinking 250 or so) or anything else I need to know?

Well, sorry to report that I won't be making this one, I'll be going back and forth with a client via iChat well into the evening tomorrow so guess I'll have to try and make the next one.

Fortunetly I'll still get to shoot the match in Gallatin which is always fun.

Good luck guys.
