I have the S&W 5.45. It's performance is about the same as the 5.56 with regular ammo. The ammo is cheap.

The S&W comes complete with every thing chrome lined. The Model 1 upper that is listed above is with out the bolt CG, which is another 211.00 on top of the 485.00 price. I got mine for around 579.00.

I have one but I'm having a helluva time with ignition. The trigger pull is so heavy now that it is a pain to shoot. When it does fire it runs 100%. Anybody figured out a way to get a decent trigger and still have 100% ignition? My JP trigger won't even dent a surplus primer.

I've noticed that at least one of the companies that sell them include a Wolf hammer spring. Sounds like the primers are hard on that surplus ammo. The Spikes comes with the Wolf XP hammer spring.
