pistol caliber carbine?

I have a Marlin Camp 9 with a folding tactical stock that I keep in the car as my "car gun." It shoots well, in 9 mm and will take any defense loads you want to feed through it. It uses S&W magazines. The down side is its out of production, but I love mine and wish I'd bought the .45 model as well.

ok so well decided on the 9mm ar route. levers are cool but not for wut i am wanting. plus this will be a sbr so....

i am thinkin on doin the 7in upper an a 10in free float that the suppressor will stick out of about 3in.

I've got plans to build a 9mm AR SBR. Going to register a standard lower as SBR. Then build the upper, or buy. Going to have a ramped bolt so I do not have to change the hammer out and prob the hahn block because UZI mags are cheap, and I have some already. I am going with a 5.5-6 inch barrel with the intentions of suppressing it in the future. Then I am going to get an 11.5" 5.56 upper to go along with it. Ideally it would end up something like this:

9mm AR upper 5" 3-lug barrel w/ mag block *PRICE DROP* - AR15.COM

I think this guy is a member here, and he has done it right...... If I had the money sitting around I would buy it right now.

It’s not a pistol caliber it’s .223, but the PLR-16 is a SBR without having to deal with the feds.
