Has anyone tried Pizza Hut's The Big Italy Pizza?

It looks good, so I went to order one tonight in Oak Ridge.

I checked the price online, 12 dollars with 3 toppings.

I called in, I and started my order. I was told that it is 12 dollars for up to 3 toppings.

First Topping I pick Pepperoni.

Second I ask for extra Cheese.

I am then told extra cheese has an added cost ($2). Wait, Extra cheese is a topping in my book. I haven't even got to the 3 topping yet and they are starting to add on extra costs already.

Correct me where I am wrong, but I figure a pizza listed at a set price with 3 toppings I should be able to pick any 3 toppings on the menu. If I want to be crazy and pick the same topping 3 times even right?

I guess I feel there should not have been an extra cost until I hit a 4th topping but I was only going to 2 toppings.

In short, I did not order it and I went to Little Caesars instead.

Yes I know the picture says price may vary but they did tell me on the phone 12 dollars includes 3 toppings.

I think I need a beer. I am still editing.

I intended to go out tonight but my wife fell asleep, so I did not get to go to the Irish Times tonight.

Extra cheese should've been considered a regular topping.

And ^^THIS GUY^^ has experience in the pizza industry... Especially with the "hand tossing" part...

Hey, who's got 2 thumbs and uses 'em to throw company property?

THIS GUY! (I know, it doesn't really work without seeing me pointing to myself with my thumbs, but still)

I hope you realize you are NEVER gonna live that down...

On here, anyways...

I'm coming up with a new term.. Everytime I can use the word "throw", in any of its forms, I'm going to replace it with "Ebow1'd" in any of it's forms...

:)

Big Ed's?

We don't have anything good in the 'Boro

Why go to Pizza Slut when you have Big Ed's?

My wife wanted to try that cause she has been seeing it on TV.

Now I am just made because they wanted to charge me for that topping that should have been in the deal. I was in a good mood and then I tried to order that. I tried to follow the rules.

Hell I didn't even call up and say, what kind of specials are you running tonight for the game. I didn't even try to talk them in to a cheaper deal like I used to.

I used to be horrible about calling 3 pizza places to see who would ofter me the best price. I am not that bad any more. Tonight we just wanted to go to pizza hut cause it has probably been a year since we have had pizza hut. Now it will probably be a year or more now.

Big Ed's?

If you find your self in Oak Ridge, put that on your bucket list. Very good pizza, an Icon in the city for pizza.

Probably just the shape/size.

I remember when they had the BigFoot pizza's, it was the same pizza just a different shape/size.

Looks like that pizza would be hard to throw. You need advanced skills

Yeah... Those advanced skills are had to come by... But Ebow1, I think, HAS them...

I think Ebow'd, would be better then Ebow1'd. It just sounds better, plus the only I have the 1 on the end was because this screen name was a component of my LSU account when I was a student.

Okay, deal.. We can use "Ebow'd"

What did you do at LSU?

I love thin crust @ PH, but the local store never gets the order right. Lots of chances but they always screw it up...

Domino's has thin crust too.
