Machinist Wanted

My employer has an opening for a highly skilled machinist in my area of responsibility (I am not the hiring manager). Preferred qualities and skills:

Experience with all the usual machine tools, media blasting, etc. Experience with CNC machining, understanding of and ability to program G code a plus. Experience machining titanium and nickel based alloys. Experience with high precision work... tolerences of +/- 0.001", sometimes less. Experience with large, oddly shaped parts. Experience with tool design and fabrication a plus. CAD skills a plus.

Good reading comprehension skills. Detail oriented. Ability to follow written instructions to the letter, every time, regardless of whether you think that's the best way to do it. Ability to recognize that you don't know what you don't know and then ask appropriate questions before you screw up a part that costs more than your house.

Wish I had those kinds of skills. Sounds like that kind of work could really pay off. Nope, not even close on any of those skills.
