Gallatin Gun Sept. match

Gallatin Gun IDPA, on Sept. 11, will have a regular monthly match with 3 stages and a shotgun side match.

No extra fee for the shotgun match. About 70 pistol and 16 shotgun. Birdshot or skeet loads will work.

Everybody can shoot. Don't have to be a member of the GGC. Match setup begins by 8:00 am, Registration will be from 8:00 am until 9:15 am. A mandatory shooter's meeting is held at 9:15. Matches begin at 9:30 and we move between stages by squads.

I don't recall the fee for non GGC members.

If you come, just wait at the gate and a GGC member will drive up and will let you in. Don't forget to bring a good holster, belt and at least 3 mags.

Its really a good group to shoot with, real helpful with anybody shooting with us for the first time regardless of their skill level. I'll admit to being about the only anal one in the bunch as I spout-off about rules, equipment, tactics and the folks who don't help to paste targets between shooters.

Fees are $10 for members, $15 for non-members. First timers are $5. First timer fee does not apply to Classifier matches and 3-Gun matches.
