Taking this from another thread... But I think it fits here nicely...

I don't know what browser you guys are using, but mine has a "back" button. Whenever I see something that I don't care to read, I hit that button and my problems are instantly solved. You might have a "back" button of your very own and just not be aware of it. Look in the upper left hand corner of your browser window and see if there is a button with an arrow pointing to the left. If there is, then congratulations, you have a "back" button. You will never again be forced to read, and then comment on, something that you don't care or want to know about. The world is now your oyster. You can thank me later if you want, or you can just hit that "back" button and ignore what I've said. Either way, the big winner here is you.

Gotta go with Glock on this one. Nobody is forcing anyone to read or participate in a thread. If you don't like reading about certain things then, uhh...don't. Asking to ban certain topics of discussion is basically asking someone to keep you from your own curiosity.

Better yet, why didn't you just use the old cliche about religion and politics?

it's been said so many times people actually agree with it. I agree with the

Ted Nugent attitude about that cliche, that it's a dumb cliche. That doesn't

mean you have to agree with me. The hostility is childish. Just like a TV, if you

don't like it, change the channel.
