One of the local news stations here in knoxville had a report on this last night. They showed his old house and interviewed a close friend. I never knew he grew up in Knoxville.

I guess it's a sign of age or something that I have never heard of this person. Even reading the obit didnt ring any bells.

He's a knoxville native, he had a promising career in acting as a kid, the movie "The Client" was a popular flick, til few years ago with the yacht theft incident, and he was well known for buying heroin from a undercover cop and strange outbursts in court about it....his career was pretty much dwindling at that time...kinda makes you wonder if britney spears will be like that next???

Next? She is like that now. Isn't she such a good role model for the kiddies?

I know she's acting that way now but I meant that as fall victim to the grim reaper by 25 like Renfro did....the way she's acting is more likely that she'll do something unforgivable if she never gets to see her kids if you get my drift...(from what I've heard on internet feeds)

It's just another example of life emulating screen. In Renfro's first movie (The Client) Mark Sway's father was an alcoholic. It's kind of ironic that Renfro grew up to be an alcoholic in real life. I guess the moral is that money doesn't buy happiness, no matter who you are.

No, but that money can buy you lots of ######. And apparently that made him very happy indeed.
