i just got in a 7.62 sd aac supressor (only took 2 months)i put it on the mount and didnt get it seated all the way down on the rachet mount. well it has a small 1/8 of inch hit on the end cap and looks like the last two baffles might have got knicked to. how bad is this going to effect the performance. it was the first time i ever shot through it i hope i didnt mess it up to bad. it was shot by a 5.56.

Ouch. That sucks man. You def. had a baffle strike. I would call AAC in the morning and ask them what you should do. I wouldn't shoot it anymore with the end cap like that until you find out if they can fix it. I am hunting more info from AAC now. I fixed your thread title for you also.

yeah it really sucks i got like 15 rounds through it thats it i didnt get the ratchet mount seated good due to the scarmour coating being in the threads it locked up to early then apparently shook loose, the baffles look better than the end cap problem is its a welded tube cant replace the end cap last thing i found said it cost have the price of the orginal silencer plus another form 4 and tax stamp cause they will replace the tube with a new serial number if its like that i have a really expensive paper wait.

looks worse in the picture than in person its prabaly less than 1/8 th of an inch and the end cap is te worst the baffles have a finger nail width or less on them.

already sent an email to there tech with the pictures.
