I've carried one since I got my permit in April. I love mine, but the haters will be along shortly. :D

I have the Glock 27 - the 26's brother in .40 . I like it - but I wish I had my 23 back. To be honest the subcompact does not save that much over the compact version. But it shoots very well, conceals well and eats everything I feed to it. It's hard to beat a Glock in any cal or size.

I've thought about getting a G26 but decided to go with the G19 however I have shot the G26, it works very well and I do plan on getting that eventually later on, but problem is its grip is short so your pinkie kinda hangs loose...otherwise its a good weapon for CCW

Tried one with the extension on the magazine? World of difference.

I've carried mine for about 6 months now, like it very much. I may go a bit thinner this summer, that's my only isssue with CC, I'm thick enough myself, every additional bulge shows. I kinda like the short grip, little finger fits snug under mag. probably wouldn't like it if there was space there.

23 and 27 here, Gosh hope I don't shoot myself.

Hater here.Too heavy for pocket carry and the grip is too short.Somebody said put an extension on the mag and guess what?,it is then the same length as a 19 which is easier to shoot and reload.Oh yeah you have to be carful when you reload a 26 or your palm gets pinched.JMHO,OPMMV.

I have had my G-33 now for 2.5 years & love it. Even use it to shoot IDPA. I believe in practice, practice often with what you carry.

I carried a G27 for about a year. After I started shooting 1911's there was no turning back and the G27 was replaced a couple weeks ago w/ a Kimber CDP.

I always felt the G27 was too big to be a small gun and too small to be fun at the range. YMMV. For what its worth, the G27 never once had a single problem and was quite accurate.

My G26 is my computer gun. I have extensions for all the mags.

Carry a G19 or the G38

Not true. The grip is a hair shorter along the front, but significantly shorter down the back. Notice all the bobtail 1911s hitting the market? Rounding off the corner of the butt reduces "printing" and this is exactly what happens when you put a Pierce +1 on a Glock 26 or 27. You also have a 1/2" shorter barrel. Even with the extension, it is easier to conceal than a 19/23.

Hey deerslayer, me thinks you have flat killed is objection.

I carried a G26 for a while. Traded it for an XD-9 sub but quickly went to a flatter and a bit thinner handgun, the P7M8 for concealed carry in 9mm. The XD became my car gun.

I'm big on flat guns that don't go off as easily for concealed carry. Have you looked at the Kel-Tec PF9?

Nah,The back ain't that much shorter, the front is practically the same and the 19 is a lot easier to reload and shoot.Besides you have to put the extension on the 26 to even compare it to the 19.Like I said,JMHO

Put one in your holster and see how it conceals. As for shootability, I shoot the 27 in IDPA every now and then and usually hold my own. YMMV
