The EOS 7D,

I was going to buy the much more expensive EOS 5D Mark 2, I got to try both models for a while and the EOS7D is my all time favorite camera and a bargain you can get it and a great lens in a package combo for $1766.00 unless they come out with a better model by Christmas that is what Santa is bringing me :)

What is your primary photographic interest? That will help decide which sensor size to get. Also, are you heavily invested in crop sensor only lenses?

Just general photography. I don’t do it for income, but I have shot weddings.

The 7D and the 60D are the same size sensor (APS-C). I can’t justify the cost of full frame models.

If you wait until about 2 weeks after I buy one, Cannon will come out with something twice as good for around 1/2 the price. Guaranteed!

Ain’t that the truth. :P

It already bad enough that they are like buying computers…. Use them three or four years and they aren’t worth anything.
