#2. Alex is right on some things.

I listen to him occasionally, and you can get some good information from his show. That is if you weed through the whining, yelling, and pure BS. It is fun to listen to sometimes.

Right or wrong, Jones is a self-aggrandizing blowhard who does more harm than good when it comes to alternative politics. His obnoxious, billowing maw tends to damage any hope of bringing about any type of awakening among the electorate.

#2.

I honestly don't know enough to say whether #3 is true or not.

Some conspiracies are well-known fact (gun control). Some are mostly hidden. Some are not conspiracies at all, but rather unplanned coincidences.

Sometimes it's hard to tell which is which.

Alex may sometimes pick up some of the last group, but he has some good stuff too. I don't think he's trying to deliberately mislead people. Just keep your brain on.

It's evident that Alex cares a lot about this country. There are many who don't give a fig about it.

Listen to his Dec. 31st / Jan. 1st show from 2000. He was big into the Y2K thing and was telling listeners that the Russians were launching nukes. And that our missle defense system was down and all that. His wrongs outweigh his rights IMO.

I hear ya.

Some folks dismiss nearly all conspiracy theories as bunk.

Other folks think most all conspiracy theories are true.

The truth is somewhere in between.

Edited to add: By the way, I bought a book on Y2K at the county library sale for about $0.25 a while back. Should be a riot.

If you listen to him, you will be ready to fill your BOB, dig your bomb shelter and get the hell out now.

he is a bit of Blow hard, but he could have some facts mixed in there.

5. Alex Jones =

FTFY

Alex Jones' Infowars: There's a war on for your mind!

I'll take number #5.

Personally, I think the man is an idiot with too many sponsors. Yes, I have listened to his radio show a few times, but all he does is scream "Marshall Law is coming" and bull:poop: like that. To me, it's not worth listening to. I'd rather put my head underwater and mumble, while recording it. And listen to it in the future for political advice as to listen to Alex Jones. Alex Jones = World Dumbass Award.

:)

Oh, and while I'm ranting... There is nothing that pisses me off more than "Chemtrail Shooting Planes". That's the biggest bunch of bull:poop: I have ever heard. Completely. People take pictures of Pitot Tubes and say that they shoot out chemtrails. First of all, THEY'RE POINTING THE WRONG WAY!.

Pitot Tube:

C172_pitot.jpg

Secondly, if you believe in chemtrails, you're an idiot, and I can prove you why you're an idiot, but I'm not gonna post it right here. Ask Terry if you don't believe me.

And... Before anyone asks what this picture is....

inside-chemtrail-plane1500w1.jpg

Here is proof.

Inside_Boeing__Building_the_777_-_Google_Book_Search-20090605-211713.jpg

And I know in the first picture it says "HAZMAT INSIDE", but, I can put that there in paint and let me ask you this... Why would it say HAZMAT INSIDE on the INSIDE of the aircraft? For the unknowing people that work there... Come on.... :) Honestly, if they were spraying crap, why would they put the barrells ONLY where seats go, and leave all that extra space?

After reading the piece on his site about the Tea Party and the GOP so-called

takeover, I don't really consider him very credible.

The organization "Freedom Works" was the organization that helped the founders

of the Tea Party get started, structure wise, but I don't know about anything else.

He used a lot of truths and other statements that I couldn't answer about and the

claims about the Republicans lining up and spitting on the Dems has been refuted.

No real opinion, but I'm not very interested in his site, either. I'm not sure what kind

of spinner he is, but I think he is a spinner.

I think Jones is entertaining to hear occasionally, but don't take him any more seriously than any of the other blowhards. The Prince of Paranoia.

Just like Noory, or whoever is doing Coast to Coast these days.

'Bout half loon, but the guests range from nutty to quite instructive.

I'm for most everything that's not boring, myself.
