Everyone with a driver's license should watch that video. Every single day I see people who are doing everything BUT driving sitting behind the wheel of a 1-2 ton projectile. I worry every time my wife or son leaves the house to go somewhere.

That was extremely disturbing and sickening. Hence, effective... however, to someone that just doesn't give a crap about anything, not likely it will impress.

I have seen video's like that before and still drove 100mph or faster almost every day from 1997 until 2009. What an idiot!!! It took a bad wreck to change my attitude. I was lucky that no one was seriously injured.

Make sure your loved ones watch this video as well. I sent it to my wife.

Hey, traffic cams are good for something. After the fact evidence, and very scary PSA's.

From what I hear, they've been showing videos like that in drivers ed classes here for some time. They need to bring the kids with us to the scene of a fatal crash so they can get that sickening feeling when the cell phone in the floorboard starts ringing and the caller ID says "Mom". Or better yet, they can come with us to notify the family. Experience that just once and I guarantee their "situational awareness" will change. :-\

I spent 37 years watching movies like that and taking defensive driving courses EO year. The cost of the classes was offset by a reduction in insurance premiums for my employer as they had a large fleet of company vehicles.

I see no problem with defensive driving class being a requirement for license renewal because driving is a "Privilege" not a right.

They show those videos whenever you're getting a speeding ticket or something taken off your record.... I've been there a couple, 5, times. (In 5 diff cities/counties though)
