Boy Blistered After Licking Used Condom, Grandma Says

ATLANTA — A Georgia woman said a weekend outing turned into a horrifying experience when her young grandson developed blisters after he found a used condom in their hotel room and put it in his mouth, myFOXdfw.com reported.

According to Carmen Jones, the incident happened on Aug. 1 at the Wyndham Gardens hotel in downtown Atlanta, where she had taken the boy and his cousin for a weekend of family fun.

Jones said at first glance room 329 looked perfectly clean, except that there was no soap and no towels.

The next morning, Jones said, she awoke to a horrifying scene.

"When I looked at my grandson, he had a used condom all down his throat — his tongue in it everything. And there was semen in the condom," she said.

Jones immediately took the condom out of the boy's mouth and called hotel management., she said.

Days later the child developed a fever, Jones said.

"That's when I had seen the open blisters inside of his mouth, inside of the bottom lip, all on his tongue," Jones said.

The boy is being tested for STDs and HIV but Jones' attorney said the family is awaiting the results before deciding how to proceed.

Hotel rooms are disgusting. I am unsure what could normally be on a condom and cause the symptoms described though. So I guess that could be BS.

First thing I do upon entering a hotel room is grab the comforter by as little of a corner as I can and pull it off the bed and get it out of the way, somewhere it will not be touched again. Second is to visually scour the room for things like used condoms. Have a baggy for putting the remote in so it does not have to be touched and do not use the phone for God's sake.

Agreed crazy story, but whats up with the lame, "If your a conservative comment"? At least fox doesnt "cater" to the commie Liberals.

Don't be so hard on the kid... he was probably just doing what he'd seen his mom do before...

ROFLMAO. Kind of an inside joke.

I'm as conservative as the next guy on here, support the tea party, God, Guns and Religion kind of guy, but the news media sucks....all of them. Of course MSNBC, CNN, etc are slanted to the liberal side of things, just as Fox is slanted for the conservative side. Which is fine, except when they say fair and balanced. My degree is in journalism, graduated in 97. Even at that time the idea of journalism was an unbiased, non personal opinion, reporting of a news story. A reporter or news anchor, was suppose to be a person that you could listen too and get the facts, in order to develop an opinion, or learn about a certain topic. Those days are dead. They all lean toward their side of the table, even Fox news. I have the same mindset of the reporting on Fox news, that is how I think, that is what I believe, but they are slanted and biased with a conservative point of view, so in regards to news, I look at Fox, I look at MSNBC, I look at CNN (which seems to have shifted a little bit toward the middle) and go from there with a better (I hope) understanding of the issue.

That's my joke, and goes way back to previous topics and private discussions that have taken place.

The whole thing sounds fishy to me, sounds like she wants to sue the hotel.

If real, she should have been a carrying mother and went directly to a hospital then with the condom and had it tested as well. I get the feeling the "condom" has been lost.

I know it takes about 30 days after a possible infection before they can test for HIV but not everything knows that. Had they had the condom in question, they could have got DNA samples as well from both sides of it (inside and outside) which could have helped determine if it was planted or not.

If the condom is not in evidence, it is a pretty weak case.

I wonder if anybody has pondered the possibility that the kid's mouth is blistered from the grandmother scrubbing it out with soap and water? Or maybe toilet bowl cleaner...
