What is the deal with all the MSN Bot Spyders crawling around and scanning multiple threads. Is this normal???

It is indeed. They have to explore in order to index all the new threads on BING. Perhaps GoogleBot will be along soon to scare off MSNBot.

You can see them (several at a time) in the online users list, when they're on here gathering info.

I just noticed something else there, like known users with a + after their moniker, like Garufa+, SeaSlug+. What's THAT about?

Pretty sure the "+" designation means they're on your specific friends list... if memory serves right. The spiders show up as whatever search engine name with 'bot', 'spider', etc added onto it. Forget exactly how they list as. Been awhile since I noticed them. You'll know it when you see them though. It's pretty obvious.
