For me it is my grandkids, wine and spirits, Cincinnati, football, guns. And hot woman always make the list,

Gadgets of particular interest: Musc instruments, pro audio equipment and signal processors, computers, electronics, guns, machine tools, woodworking tools, nuclear/solar/wind/water.

Ideas of interest: History, music theory/performance, psychology, philosophy, science. Digital Signal Processing.

Am very ignorant/unskilled on all of the above, but it remains interesting to discuss.
