form for what?

AFAIK you do not need papers to travel from state to state, except a drivers license if you are behind the wheel and a carry permit if you are going armed. ( not counting the communist like states that do not allow handgun carry)

I've never heard them called a form 20 before. I've just always called them a 5320.20. Good to know. Mike he is talking about an NFA item, not just a handgun.

yeah I figured that out after I had posted. I used the "New Posts" link and did not realize what subforum this question had been posted in.

Gonna be more careful in the future about it.

Just FYI, 5320.20 is good for up to a year so if you plan on multiple visits to a state it is worth it to fill out for, say, Oct 2010 to Spt 2011.
