Browning Gun Safe Update:

One of the most interesting and innovative feature for the 2011 Browning line is the new Axis Adjustable Shelving System. It was designed to maximize storage space and accommodate many different items of varying size, not just firearms. Unlike shelves in other safes that are either fixed in position or offer only vertical adjustment, Axis shelves can be adjusted both vertically (up or down) and horizontally (right or left) to accommodate nearly any size item, while working around long guns. This new shelving system comes as standard equipment on Platinum and Gold safes, and is available as an option on Medallion and Silver safes.

The patented DPX Storage System has been upgraded to incorporate a new Quick-Access feature that greatly speeds the positioning of those guns you'll be storing on the back of the safe door.

The Platinum, Gold and Medallion models continue to come with Pry-Stop corner locking bolts to protect against a pry attack at the vulnerable corner areas.

Light and Mirror Packages are standard equipment on the Platinum and Gold models, and are available as options on the Medallion and Silver models.

Went and visited these guys this past Tue.(1/11/11) Very informative, friendly and nice. No high pressure and took the time to explain the different safes in detail. Just as a comparison, I went to check out some of the "big box" discount store safes. There is just no comparison in the quality. My wife, who could really care less, noticed the difference as soon as she closed the door on the cheaper safes. She said they fell and sound like tin cans. Their (the safe house) lower priced safes aren't much more than the big box store safes and are much higher quality. I will be getting one from them as soon as me and Uncle Sam come to an agreement as to how much extra he took from me this year.
