Nashville Sporting Arms Is Under New Management!!!

Nashville Sporting Arms, aka Gun Mart II, located at 6682 Charlotte Pike in West Nashville, has new owners. I went in today looking for ammo and a holster for my new-to-me Kel-Tec P-32. Found both but only had the funds to get the ammo at this time. A nice lady greeted me when I walked in and asked if I needed help or was just going to browse. I was just browsing, however, she was able to answer the few questions I did have quickly and politely. After I made my purchase and found out she was one of the new owners, her, I presume, husband walked in and went into the back. The original owner sold the shop to them and went off to go fishing. He is no longer part of the management.

So, go check them out and give them another chance to get things started. Let's help a bad Brick & Mortar store become a good one for the new owners.

I hope they fix their closing hours during the week so normal people can stop in and see their shop. I think the DMV stayed open later....

I went in last Friday with my brother-in-law and the new owner was at the counter. He said that he and his wife decided to give it a try. I must say that I was very impressed with his attitude and helpfulness. I always enjoy folks who will spend a few mintues just shootin' the bull with you. My brother-in-law had nine of his eleven guns stolen from his home a few weeks back, and he had him write down all that was taken just in case they came through his door. He had a pretty decent selection and the ammo prices were very reasonable. Since the Brother in law lives so close, I'll definitely stop in again and purchase some things to help out the business. I also like the fact that he sharpens knives on site.

I picked up an OWB holster from them the other day. Great folks, helped me find the only M&P holster in their store. And at a great price too.

Will do business again.
