My mother supposedly videotaped me after I got my wisdom teeth out. I told her if the tape ever emerges that she takes her life into her own hands. I can only imagine...

I was totally fine after having mine out.

Before hand I ask the Dr how far out I would be. He said 99 percent, he then told me any further by law the procedure would have to be done at a hospital.

At the very end, I heard him say one more stitch, then I woke up. They said your done. I stood up, the 2 nurses grab me and looked at me and then each other like they had never seen anyone stand before.

Someone brought in a wheel chair they insisted I sit down but I refused. I walked out of the OR under my own power, they did stay on each side of me, mom watched. they told me to recovery where I had to stay about 45 minutes. I was ready to go. While in recovery I watched them wheel a girl out just crying for all she was worth. Mom explained to me that the medicine effects some people and just makes them cry. When they released me they would not release me to walk outside to the car, they would only release me if I got in the wheel chair and they pushed me to the car. So I did.

The DR had been recommended by several people I worked with and later when I talked about it, no one said they remembered leaving his OR, and I got up and walked. No wonder the nurses where confused and I do realize they where probably more concerned about me falling and hurting myself.

I had mine removed by the Navy in Guam. I had a couple of locals, they were removed, I was given 800mg of Motrin and I had to walk back to the ship. If I went via the road it was 5 miles or so. I wasnt feeling up to that, so I hoofed it through the jungle. (WTF was I thinking?) I did make it back none the worse for wear for having taken the short cut.
