My father passed away last year and he had a pistol at the house that I got and never really payed attention to. Got it out from storage today and it's a Wyoming Arms "parker" in .45. Anyone know anyhting about these guns? I saw a little bit through google, but not much real info.

IIRC, one of dad's friends said they thought something was wrong with it, but it looks ok to me on the outside. Slide works fine and I dry fired it and no issues. Gonna break it down in a few, just wanted to hear what the experts here know about this.

Thanks in advance.

Not much in the blue book of gun value. Except in 95% to 100% it is worth $250 to $350 and apparently the 7" barrel is uncommon. Hope that helps.

I havent had much experience with .45's but have you considered taking it to a gunsmith and maybe have it cleaned or just have it looked over to ensure nothing is wrong with it? Doesnt hurt to try though.
