:)Did anyone happen to watch Stan Lee's Super Humans last night with Bob Munden on there? Good Gawd a Maddy!!! He is definitely super human! Shot "2" balloons placed 6 feet apart from a distance of 10 feet so damn fast there was only one "bang". High speed camera showed he cocked, drew, shot one balloon then cocked again and shot the other from the hip before the first bang and flash finished. All in less than one tenth of a second. Even the measuring equipment read it as almost being a single action happening. Gangbangers best stay the hell away from this man! He could shoot six, reload and shoot six more before the 13th got his HighPoint outta his Faded Glory Fifties. I think I could almost hear Billy the Kid :bowrofl: his coffin.

I missed it, wish i had seen it, that sounds like it blows away what the mythbusters say about that type of speed shooting and Billy the Kid. Of course I don't put allot of stock in everything they bust including anything Gun related. I don't feel they find the right experts for some things. I will have to DL that super Human and check it out.

My wife rolls her eyes and calls him a smarta$$ everytime we see him on tv. I tell her: No honey, He can back it up!!!!! They tell me he's a really good smith as well, and can make a single action army slicker than anyone.

I have seen several Munden videos. He is good. He comes across very... smug. It is just a show from what I understand, he didn't seem so smug on the show last night.

He can back it up though.

For a showman though, I prefer Tom Knapp. He is a showman, and not smug.

Is this what y'all are referring to?

Yes, but the Stan Lee show on History, Superhuman, had a segment with Bob Munden, and he performed the same stunt. He has aged a bit, and is more demure now, but still just as fast.

I saw it and went, "WHAT?!?!" without even thinking.

On "Impossible Shots" on the Outdoor Channel, I saw him shoot a safety pin open with a .45. He literally had to just graze the pin in order to make it open without damagin it.

BTW...this is the same man that threw an ASPIRIN into the air and shoot it. He also threw a playing card into the air and shot it in half on its edge.

The man is truly Superhuman!

I saw the show a while back. They put instruments on him to measure the acceleration of his gun hand when he draws, and found out is arm is pulling 10 Gs when he draws. :slapfight:

Oh, and the look on the police shooting instructor's face when they had Bob at the PD shooting range demonstrating his speed and accuracy was absolutely priceless.

I occasionally will practice just drawing and point shooting like he does and I swear, everytime I do it the first shot will be bullseye from say 15 feet but every one after that will be off. Maybe way off. So I drop it for awhile then try it again and bullseye. Seems I can only do it on the first shot. I must be thinking too much about it and not letting it come naturally. I'm going to practice this some more, 'cause I used to be a good point shooter when I was young. Stayed outta the shootin' game too long, I guess.
