A while back there was a stir about a new 1911 being introduced from a maker near Memphis. Gonna give tours and all. Don't know where I been but I've not heard anymore about it thru range reports or even hearsay. What up??

I've wondered that myself. A member here was telling me about them at the Jackson gun show last year. Believe it was Cornbread Red but can't remember for sure.--MP

Look up "C.O. Arms" posts.

Well... Found out why we have not been seeing them. Went to http://www.coarmsusa.com/ and checked them out. i kinda like the Scorpion but is $1200 to much for an unproven piece? It'd be a steal if it really shoots like a Baer, Wilson or Brown.

Looks nice do they have to have a local following here in Memphis shops ? Ill have to look around this week and see.....

Should sell pretty reasonably too since the cost of doing biz in TN is about as cheap as it gets in the US verses lets say

Kimber where its as high as it gets (kimbers are nice but 30% of the gun is NY Overhead)

I'm all for supporting the locals and all, but I wouldn't touch one until I knew more than one person that was happy with his/hers. Too many well-known manufacturers have problems building 1911s that run.
