Desire to support TGO member businesses

First: Thanks for providing such a great site! I visit TGO nearly everyday.

Is it possible to create a forum section where TGO members can identify the business they're in? I'm not talking about gun or gear shops - I understand the need for those vendors to be authorized (and the forum already exists). I'm asking because I'd like to find a good alarm tech and HVAC guy in the Nashville area and I'd prefer to support fellow TGO members where possible.

BTW - I work for a large company that doesn't sell direct to the public or provide services. Therefore, I'm not asking for selfish reasons.

Any possibilities in developing something?

It would be cool, I agree. The last time someone tried to do this the Authorized Vendors got their panties in a bundle, but were calmed (I guess) by TGO David. The thread eventually got shut down because it was spammed.

Benefactors can advertise services or sell goods I believe as long as it doesn't go against any other authorized vendor. Look in the trading post forum for the rules on it. There are a few stickies.
