Rem Bulk Pack Warning

I have a recent Marlin 39AS. The recent ones have had some problems (see stickies here) of their own.

Mine had some problems with the Remington Thunderbolt. I would have a failure to feed pretty often, which meant I had to reach through the ejection port with something and dig it out. Also occasional failures to fire.

Federal American Eagle works much better in it. I did have one or two failures to fire today, though.

I will only buy Remington ammo as a last resort. The .22's seem extra bad anymore. Doesn't seem to matter if they are Golden Bullets or Thunderbolts or whatever. They are unreliable in every .22 I have.

I prefer Federal Champion personally but they are hard to find around here. Mini mags are overpriced and are no more accurate to me than any Winchester or Federal bulk pack stuff.

I couldn't get the remington to function well in my 597 or AR15 with cmmg conversion. I gave it to a friend and he raved about how good it shot in his phoenix arms pistol. I went to federal and haven't looked back. Shoots great and no "duds" to speak of.
