There is going to be an issue if people are tasting and carrying a firearm. I know that no one will get drunk but would be bad public relations for TGO and HCP holders in general if this went down. Just my .02.

Good point and I understand that and the tasting portion is optional. It's only a possible option at this point and I'd welcome other comments/suggestions related to this or any other aspect of the tour.

By the way, none of the distilleries have asked what group I represent and I haven't volunteered that information. The bus company knows since Vontar suggested making sure there wasn't an issue carrying on the bus.

I'm open to any and all suggestions since this is the first time I've put anything like this together.

I have a question,

What kind of parking would be available for me. Like me, I if I go, I would be driving over 2 and half hours to get to the bus. I would need to know the cars would be relatively safe and not going to get towed

I like the idea of this, as I already had plans to go to Jack Daniels this fall, I did not even know the others were around there. I just looked them up on the map. It will put me in a part of TN I have not been in yet.

Right now I am planning to make this trip. Parking I guess main concern, that and getting to the meeting point on time

Thanks for your interest in this tour.

I can go ahead and say that there's not any parking garages in Manchester but I plan to contact two or three businesses with large parking lots to get their permission to park for the day. I also think I need to contact the Manchester PD to let them know we'll be leaving several vehicles parked for the day.

Everything seems to be coming together for November 6th.

All three distilleries have us down and are going to be ready for us.

I've decided not to arrange for tasting but I am thinking of an added bonus in place of that.

I think I've also decided on a location for lunch as well. We'll make a stop at Marvin's Family Restaurant in Fayetteville. We ate there today on our way to the Lincoln County Fair (to watch some harness racing). It's an all-you-can-eat buffet and they said come on down when I talked to the manager.

Now, we just need to get a few more to express an interest in joining the fun!

When do we need to turn in the $$$ and how much per person?

We're looking at $15 to $20 per person at this point.

I haven't had to put out any cash at this point.

I'm hoping to hold off on needing payment until the day of the tour but, of course, this could change.
