I just picked this up and boy oh boy do I feel like a child on christmas... I've wanted one of these since I was 10 years old and vowed that one day I would own one. Luckily for me a kind older gent was looking to get rid of his....

Now its time to grab a holster for it....

It's an excellent condition Mk VII in .44 mag. I'll do a range report on her as soon as I have a free weekend and the cash to sink into ammo.:P

Haha, I intend to keep this one. I'm going to refinish this one in either a tactical camo pattern on a solid eye catcher color. Not that its not a head turner regardless, lol. In the long run I intend to pick it up a Stainless companion in .50AE. I am a lover of the big handguns....

I can understand the desire to have large caliber hand guns because I carried both 44 and 41 mag years ago. Now I settle for "PEA SHOOTERS" like 40 S&W and 45ACP or hand guns that toss out a 3 inch .410 slug. I must admit to owning a .556 pistol that does more damage from 100 yards than my 45 does from 20 ft.
