Looking for high quality scopes/sighting devices for my Sig522....ideas?

I have one of the Sig522 that came as a set 1 of 2000 with the Sig556 Swat Patrol. I have an eotech on the 556 and it is awesome, just wish I had a magnifier past 50-75 yards. I would like a high quality scope or similar device for the 522. Any ideas? Will a centerfire scope work on this? It has been years since I have bought a scope and I have a Bushnell 3-10 that I played with yesterday and the groups were not as good as when I was playing with an under 50.00 red dot.

I was once a competitive rifle shooter and want something that can help me improve my game:)

How much magnification do you need?

I'd kinda like to have an eotech magnifier with a quick-release and that nifty flip-over mount. Never handled one or looked thru it. For that price am assuming it is likely of very high quality, judging from the high quality of the eotech sights. But its expensive enough that I'll probably never buy one.

There are fairly inexpensive knockoffs of the eotech magnifier for sale places like Cheaper Than Dirt. Haven't seen one of those gadgets, but have examined similar-looking knockoffs at gun shows. Maybe the CTD models are better somehow, but I didn't like the knockoffs I looked at in person. The eye relief looked maybe a little too short. One unit flat-out was not in focus, and I couldn't find any control on the thing to focus it. There was one ring that would turn, but that ring didn't affect the focus. Explained the problem to the helpful lady demonstrating the magnifier, and she looked thru it and pretended to claim that it appeared in-focus to her.

I like the magnifier with the Eotech but it is cost prohibitive for a 22 and probably will not help the grouping. I have a BSA scope on a 10-22 that is compensated for a 22. It is a BSA Sweet 22 that came on a used 10-22 that I picked up for the granddaughter.
