Yup, also kinda saw this coming.

However, it does seem like they wanted to just find something to go after him for. How long had that bumper sticker been on the car? Was it on the car when he took the job? Has it been on there several months and just now suddenly become an issue?

Well, you could stay in a public area with a sign outside the shop, I GOT FIRED over a BUMPER STICKER, :P

Do they check cars for bumper stickers when they hire drivers? I mean looking at some of the driver cars I have seen I would be afraid to eat food that comes out of the car I see some drivers in, even if it is in a box.

Ebow....i think we all remember being 23...flying off the handle is part of it...immature on your part but hell we all make mistakes. Learn your lesson and move on. Getting fired from there in the long run will probably be a positive for you...though right now it sucks.

At 23 I was stationed in Korea in a 155mm Nuclear capable artillery battalion. I had to pee in the cup monthly as I had access to funny little security codes and what not. You mean I didn't have to listen to authority? Maturity is what your core values show to the outside world. Sorry the OP had to lose a job to get this pointed out.

Yeah their new sauce is disgusting. Which local one are you referring to? Venice Pizza? I get their menus in the mail and sounds like some good stuff.

NY Ave. Pizza. Great crust. Plus, they have an NRA sticker in the window.

Oh yeah, my dad was talking about them the other day. I'll have to look into them.

I don't order Domino's anymore ... not because of your experiences but because of my experiences.

Your experience just affirms that I made the right decision.

All the money they spend on advertising is wasted on me ... for some strange reason, I find great delight in that! :)

My experience with Domino's is that my poo smells like cat dung the morning after.

My experience with working is you do what you are told and don't rock the boat if you are at the lowest point in the totem pole of a food service business. Outside of that industry, once you get salaried and are a little further up the chain, then you may start making recommendations and arguing with management. Even then, you have to be very convincing and correct.

Never forget....they are paying you for work. Not for the pleasure of your company, opinions or catering to your feelings. It's a job. Want it another way? Start your own business.

Great pizza, never noticed that though, but now I am hungry for a pizza. I have a blood test tomorrow, I better wait until tomorrow evening. I will have to pay them a visit tomorrow now.

to the OP, forget that place and move on. You have nothing to gain by meeting them idiots ever again.

As for being 23, logic tells me I was 23 once, but I surely canot recall any defining moment that happened to me then.

So being 23 was fairly over rated.

Garufa I really did not need to read what your pooh smells like. Mine smells like roses btw.

And I thought all you Oak Ridgers ate Big Ed's?

TGO group meet at NY Ave Pizza? :) And forget Big Ed's. I've never liked their pizza. Been years since I've been in there even though I could probably walk to it in under 5 minutes.

I do realize that throwing company property does nothing to help me. I really had just lost it at that point. I didn't set up the meeting to try and get my job back. I'm done with them. I'm trying to get it through to his superior just how bad of a manager the man who fired me is, and hopefully get him fired as well.

You need to let this just be water under the bridge and move on. Trying to get revenge by having the other guy fired, in addition to throwing crap around at work, really does paint you as having some anger issues. Do the Christian thing and just kick the Domino's flour off your shoes and go be happy somewhere else.

Someone smarter than me at the time once observed that the best revenge in life is being successful and happy. Do these things and you win.

Who said I was Christian?

It's a colloquial term. Honestly, I was giving you the benefit of the doubt despite all of the throwing and revenging you're doing.

And why would it be a benefit to assume that I am christian? Is it inherently better then any other religion or path or life that is out there?

Yes, it is!

Hey, you know... I'm starting to see why you got fired. It had zero to do with your bumper sticker or your gun collection. Lots to do with your people skills.

Time for bed... I can't wait to see where this thread goes for the next few hours. Consider this time a reprieve from any violent outbursts punctuated with me throwing things.

You had me at 'colloquial'

+1

I suspect this will be a recurring theme for some time...
