What kind of FFL are you wanting to get? If it's an 01 FFL, you need a storefront or some sort of place to conduct business before you can get one. If it's an 03 FFL, just send off for a Form 7CR from the ATF. Don't really need a kit.

Yep, empty page for me, too. I had my FFL from 1984-1993 (class III from 1990-1993) and a C&R from 1996-2002. what would you like to know? Unless you are selling bunches, an ffl is hardly worth the price of postage (I gave mine up when they went from $30.00/yr to $300.00/yr). And since I've moved into the post WWII forum of guns, a C&R doesn't seem to do me much good, either. Now I just strap them on my back and walk into gunshows, or put them on gunbroker or auctionarms...

Ah, Hog, now I see your sight. Yep, everything you can get directly from the BATF sight, only they charge you a fee and package it up and deliver it to you. Amazing how people can take "free stuff", bundle it, and resell it for a fee...

Yea most of that stuff is available free from the BATFE or through using Google.

Ok, well I am intrested in getting a FFL, so if you guys could help me understand which one I should be looking to get, and what steps should be taken to obtain it .......I would appreciate it.

I mostly just want to get one so that I can have guns sent directly to me, instead of having to be transfered. I may sell a few as well, but mostly looking to buy.....modern firearms, not C&R. I just like the idea of not having to go through someone else.....and saving a little money to boot.

i have thought about it before also.. i assume for a 02 license you would have to have a storefront also? i am interested like knightslayer, possibly sell a few, but mostly personal
