Anyone know if they prohibit carrying at the distillery? Thinking of going there tomorrow.

Will do. I haven't been there since I was a kid. I would like to wait for a little cooler weather, but we keep putting it off.

Been a while since I was there, but it wasn't posted then.

However don't think I'd ask......there are areas where they don't even want you to use flash photography, so pretty sure they wouldn't want a firearm discharged in there and would probably say no just to be sure.............

It was a good tour. It's been a least 15 years since I was there so a little has changed. You are not allowed to take any pictures in the production areas. I did not see any signs prohibiting carrying, however I was reading a sign at the receptionists desk and it includes no firearms in the list of items prohibited on the tour. I'm concealed so I was not too worried. I think this is more of a fall tour and not one for a 106 deg. day. We had fun though.

How much does it cost to go on one of these tours? I've been dying to go.

Its all free to tour. Just park, and go into the visitor center. They run new tours I think every half hour or so.

If you can't get there soon, there's a "virtual tour" at their website (jackdaniels.com). Not even close to a real tour, but neat none the less.
