Isn't that how they work everyday? LOL

Dude, you have two new DROOL AR's and your fooling around with a Sterling now.....talk about the pendulum swing both ways!

I got no answer for ya. I ordered and replaced a firing pin for a co-workers Lorcin one time. Figured that was all I wanted to do in that neighborhood.

Every major gunmaker has had a bad batch of guns come out of their factory.

Ruger recalled all LCPs that had the serial numbers 370-xxxxx.

Sig had a problem with their P238s that had the numbers DA000501 through DA003216 on the frame.

This company is no exception. If the characters S-T-E-R-L-I-N-G are etched into your slide, the gun is a lemon.

Jeff, we kid because we can. Anybody else we would have just snickered at and left the thread alone.

I really don't know what else you can do for it. Maybe time to just let go so it will be in a better place.

Ahhh but I hate to see any GUN go to a better place.

I have cleaned it and re cleaned it. I even polished a few areas. The slide spring seems weak, that is the last thing I will try.

It will fire sometimes if you mess with it.

The chamber seems weak also like the round goes in to far.

Oh well I tried.

You said it. Maybe headspace is blown.?

I'm not saying this trying to hurt your feelings, but you've already our $40 in parts in a $20 gun. When you're in a hole, stop digging. I imagine excessive headspace is to blame assuming the slide spring provides enough resistance to fully close the slide.
