I know you'll tune this out because of the cost, but if I was going to optic an AR 5.7 for the 50-200 yd range, I'd drop one of the new Mirco ACOG sights by Trijicon on that sucker.

If you get the eye relief right, it's like having a heads up display. I like the green donut reticle.

Good luck with that, they are really new.

I'm seriously considering replacing my Reflex with one of the new mirco Acogs. They might be expensive, but they are durable as heck, and don't need batteries. also, looking at the dimensions, it's one of a very few soptics that will fit that rail space and not interfere with the magazine. I've seen them about $200 cheaper on the 'bay

I've not had a big issue with the 1.5 power ACOG optics. I don't run anything higher than that as a rule, because most of my engagment range mindset is 100yds and in. I want to play with teh micros a little more before I give a definative answer. FWIW, I run a fixed carry handle A1 upper, so I don't have a lot of adjustabiliy.
