Ive seen and read about these, but to me, its a solution to a non-existent problem. The way my M9 is set up now, is to me, perfect. I mean, the damn thing is wonderful. Ive always been very leery of buffers, gadgets, ect. Ive just not seen the need for them, and in a life/death situation, its just one more thing that COULD go wrong.

If I had a strictly competition gun, yes, Id try it. But not on MY carry/defense guns.

I would HIGHLY suggest you try a factory "D" spring. It is a $5 part, and will make a NOTICEABLE difference in DA pull, while maintaining 100% reliability. Try it, if it dont work, ya aint lost much!

I've never done anything non-stock to a pistol innards, was just researching the topic.

Found this site with videos of various 92 dissasembly. It looks pretty simple to change a hammer spring. Might try that.

Yes, this guy is really good, this is a great site! Ive used it many times. It is VERY simple to install another spring.

Also, Id fire a couple hundred rounds after putting it in before I counted on it or carried it for defense, just to be sure.
