I'm probably going to be sleeping with the dog tonight!

Got some extra work this summer on the side and told the wifey that I was going to get me a new gun. Walked out of the place today with TWO. Oooops! How'd that happen? :D

Ruger Mark III and another Glock (23). Y'all sure know what they look like, but will be happy to post pics for proof, if needed.:dunno:

Bury me with both of 'em if she ends up using them on me!

I've probably told this before, but once when I couldn't decide between 2 used shotguns at Gander Mountain, my wife told me to buy both of them. I did.

She's a keeper!

Just tell her you bought two inexpensive guns rather than one REALLY pricey one. Take her to a shop that sells high end 1911s to show her what they can cost.

Ah... use girl logic. That can backfire in a huge way

Yeah buddy. If I try that my wife will go and spend the same amount of money on lots of inexpensive shoes and clothes just to show me what they can cost.

Yep, only a girl can use that and get away with it. Sometimes the dog house ain't so bad.

Ignore all questions on what you got

exactly, never tell them anything, it will always be used against you. Best to put them away with no mention, then down the road if she happens to notice you simply say " that old thing, I 've had that one"

I've tried it, Mike357, it doesn't work. I, realizing I'm a lousy liar gave

that line up, years ago.

I give my wife notice I'm buying a gun, then waffle for a while,

building up to the moment that I actually buy the damned thing

by informing her I'm shopping for the best price. She knows the

bank account better than I do.

Used that before but she noticed that the finish had changed from armory-kote to SS. Now it's (if you) don't ask, (I)don't tell.

That's when you go on and on about that "fancy can of silver spray paint" that only cost you $3... :poop:

You don't have a separate account?

As for me, I would tell her to shut up and make me damn a sandwich.

strickj, I can see you're a badass.

Actually, I would just say give the dog a bath, it'll be fine.
