Good ammo?/US Cartridge Co.

I was raised to believe that Remington made good ammo. However, I've recently been told that it isn't too good and has caused some problems by a friend who is into automatic weaponry. I was wondering what everybody's beliefs are on the matter. Also, what brands of ammo would you recommend? I also came across ammo made by the US Cartridge Co. I haven't been able to find any form of a review of their ammo and would like to see if anybody on here is familiar with it.

Personally, I've had a few problems with Remington UMC (not the rest of their products - just "UMC") not being loaded consistently. I've noticed it in the 9mm, 45acp, and 223. Out of each box of ammo, I'll find that a few are underloaded and a couple seem quite overloaded. That's been a few years back, and I haven't bought any UMC ammo since, so I don't know if the issue has been resolved or not. When it comes to other Remington ammo styles, I've not seen any issues.

I don't know anything about US Cartridge Co. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will come along soon and help you out.

Golden Saber pistol bullets and components are among the best. I'm

sure some will have their preferences and those are mine for reloading

and carry ammo. I can't speak to their other ammo, nor the other brand

you mentioned.
