Hahahahaha. I thought it was SOP to leave it running 24/7 anyway. That's what you would think if you saw what goes on around here.

I work on signs, so I am around restaurants and the like alot. Over the years, I have noticed patrol cars running in the parking lot for no apparent reason while LEO was eating lunch. Seems like alot of wasted money to me but, what do I know.

I don't even know why I thought of that, and why I even bothered to post that. Gotta love staying up late...................

So that's why it won't start after sitting for 48 hours... it's out of gas!

Well, when everything's "powered up", it's not a bad idea to leave it running if you're going to be away from the car for over half an hour. Otherwise, you'll come back to a dead car battery. I usually shut everything down when I eat lunch (camera system, radios, etc.). The down side is that if something happens and I gotta haul balls away, it'll take me a minute. Sometimes a minute can really matter.

Also, the K9 units always leave theirs running for the climate control for the dog (obviously).

So that's why it won't start after sitting for 48 hours... it's out of gas! :lol:
